    to mock somebody or to ridicule or to make a fool of someone? which one is more common? is there any better expression or idiom ?
    what do we say when we want to tell someone stop ridiculing?

    You can say : Stop laughing at smb. or stop making laugh of smb.

    Of cousre :stop mocking or making fool of smb. are acceptable.
