    What is the difference between meanings in these sentences?

    No difference, but it's more correct to say:The ball fell into/onto the water.

    If I fell in the park, I was walking in the park and I fell.
    If I fell on the beach, I was walking on the beach and I fell.

    If I fell into the park, I fell out of an airplane and landed in the park.
    If I fell onto the beach, the railing on the boardwalk broke and I landed on the beach.
