    living/to live

    Hi everyone...

Situated at an elevation of 1,350m, the city of Kathmandu, which looks out on the sparkling Himalayas, enjoys a warm climate year-round that makes [living / to live] here pleasant.

The answer sheet says living is right.
    Why not to live ?
    Best regards...

Because English grammar requires a gerund, "living", after "makes".
"to live" would fit in the following sentence, '.....that makes it pleasant to live here.'
