    Post Need help teaching articles

Hi, I'm a new at teaching ESL students and I am wondering if there are any easy games for teaching articles, such as a, an, and the? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

P.S. Does anyone know any good ESL teaching books? My grammar is a bit rusty, so I'm still looking for an easy-to-read grammar book. One that teaches grammar points most ESL students learn or have trouble learning. Thanks again!

    Re: Need help teaching articles

I recommend Practical English Usage by M. Swan as a reference and Longman Advanced Learners' Grammar as a practice book. One more Uncovering Grammar by Scott Thornbury.

As far as games on grammar etc. go, there are books by Penny Ur Five-Minute Activities: A Resource Book of Short Activities and Grammar Practice Activities: A Practical Guide for Teachers and one more published by MacMillan 700 Classroom Activities written by David Seymour and Maria Popova.

    Good luck with these!
