    Question "by" as an adjective

    Hi,

In the following sentence: "I came by plane." "by" is a preposition, right? Could someone give me an example using "by" as an adjective?

    yes, a prep.
There is no circumstance I know where 'by' in itself functions as an adj.

What about "by" taking part of a prepositional phrase?
