    Question the navil

Translating into portuguese Thomas Willis' "The Soul of Brutes" I could not find in any dictionary, nor even in the internet the meaning of the ancient word "navil". By the context, it seemed to me to refer to the fontanel. Couldo you help me?
    Thanks.

    Re: the navil

Try "navel". Your original is 17th century English so it will contain obsolete spellings.
