meaning of later in the sentence

I would like to know what is the meaning of later in the sentence: I have dedicated this year to learning more English. More later.

what is the time frame here for later ? would that be next year ? as later refers to a subsequent time.

    thanks

If you are writing a letter and you say "More later" it means you will have more to say later.
