    Dear Teacher,

Can the word "envelop" be used as a noun?
    Many thanks.

In addition, the word envelop can, in a way, be used as a noun:

Ex: Can the word envelop be used as a noun? <noun>

Envelop is a verb in form but in that example it's used a noun--in function.

... and if you spell it with a final e, two things happen; it becomes a noun, and the stress (and vowel sounds) changes.
