    Please take this dress up as this hangs loosely till my toes.
    I have taken up few steps to solve this problem.

    Please correct my sentences.

    In the first sentence, this is a specific physical command - make the dress shorter.

    In the second sentence "take up" is the wrong phrase. You "take steps/a few steps" to do something.

    "To take up" something means that you are going to learn it >> I am going to take up learning English as a hobby/ I took up tennis last year / I am taking up cooking so I can live more economically.
