    Question From vs. out of

    Hi!
    I'd like you to tell me which of the following is correct:
    1.My tusks are valuable and people make nice pieces of jewellery from them.
    2.My tusks are valuable and people make nice pieces of jewellery out of them.
    Some say both are ok, but I'd like you to help me make the difference between the above mentioned prepositions.
