    Angry Bend

    What is the meaning of "bend" in : "Bend it like Bekham."

    I presume this means that the ball is made to swerve in the air. This is a technique much used by kickers of free kicks in Association Football - by striking the ball with the inside or outside of the foot the ball can be induced to swerve or "bend" in the air thus deceiving the goalkeeper - perhaps!
