    word order

    Hi,

could you please tell me how to make clear that the part of the following sentence starting with "multiplied" refers to "points"?

The overall evaluation is based on the sum of the points awarded for individual partial criteria multiplied by the weight of the given criterion.

    Thank you very much.

To me there is no confusion. It makes sense as it stands.

    I could also say:

The overall evaluation is based on the sum of the points which, (after being) awarded for individual partial criteria, are (then) multiplied by the weight of the given criterion.

    What do you think?
