    Post Wish + had come

I WISH that someone would explain this to me:

I wish I had gone to camp last summer. (past perfect)

I wish I had come with you yesterday. (?)

I was also wondering if the rule in using WISH when talking about the past is wish + past perfect.

    Thanks! Much!

This is correct; you didn't go to camp and now you are expressing a regret about it.
I wish I had come with you yesterday. (?)
This is also correct; we use the past perfect with wish to talk about the past because we are talking about an imaginary past, usually the opposite of what actually happened.
