    Post to be supposed to

    Can you tell me more about the usage of ''to be suposed to'' As far as i know ''Am i supposed to...'' means ''Do i have to...'' Then what's the difference between them? in meaning or just usage ?

    If you are supposed to do something, you should do it, but it also often implies that you are not going to do it:
    I am supposed to work late tonight, but I am going to leave early.
