    got somebody up

She got her daughter up as a queen's dress so that the king marry him.

    Is this sentence correct?

    Please help me.

I have written this sentence to mean, "She groom her daughter with a pretty dress as a queen would wear so that the king would marry him".

    Re: got somebody up

    It's not correct.
She had her daughter dressed up like a queen, so that the king would marry her (daughter).
