    Smile so x very

    In the sentence:

Mary: Im glad you repaired the car so fast, Mr. Santino.

    Why is Mary glad?
She is glad because Mr. Santino repaired the car so fast.
(I guess I should put very instead of so in this sencence, right?) (is this sentence correct?)

    Re: so x very

The sentence is perfectly fine as is. Mary is glad that Mr. Santino repaired the car so fast because she didn't expect him to finish so soon. She is pleasantly surprised.
