    Question genre vs. style

Talking about literature, is there any difference between genre and style?

    Re: genre vs. style

Genre is the theme of the book: Romance, Western, Crime, Adventure, Suspense, ChickLit, Biography etc. are all genres

Style is the particular way in which the author writes.
