    what does this expression means and when do we use it?

    If you say "your demand is my command" to somone, it means that you will do anything he wants. You can use it to express your determination to satisfy somebody. It is often found in arabian stories and books about gin. If you free the gin from the bottle, he must obey you. Your demands are his commands.

    In Polish we have a very similar saying, in fact a literary translation of "your demand is my command". But we don't use it just to say "I will do whatever you want me to", but after a particular request, and I'd venture to claim it's rather used ironically and/or humorously.

    I'd be happy to learn more opinions on this topic.
