    Do you mean "That's more like it!".

    This is used (at least in North America, I know) to express satisfaction with something that was not satisfactory before. For example, one of the online dictionaries states:

    "something that you say when someone improves an offer or an attempt.
    'I can raise my offer to $500.'
    'That's more like it.' "

    That's what I mean, thanks! That I think is the reason why I was a bit reluctant about using the expression. It wasn't well worded.
