    correct expression

    Hi,

could you please tell me the right expression for removing old products which are not sold any longer from stock? Is it "stock cleaning"?

    Thanks a lot!

Also, stock rotation. This is when you move items with an expiry date that comes sooner to the front of the shelf. You rotate the stock so that customers will grab the older product first and you won't have to discard as much out of date stock.

I know this was not the original question. However, to send someone a private message I need to have posted ten times on the forums. As a result of this requirement, I am posting a dreadful lot of garbage. It will cease very soon.

I think there's a difference between stock clearing and stock clearance. The latter would better fit your context.
