    correct?

    Hi,

    could you please proofread the following sentece (especially tenses):

    The guarantee retention will be paid to the Contractor after a bank guarantee has been provided to the Client the wording of which had been approved by the Client in advance.

    At the very least, put a comma after the first "Client," but that's not very elegant -- it sounds like the Client must approve the wording about the Client, not the guarnatee.

    Can you make it two sentences?
    The guarantee retention will be paid to the Contractor after a bank guarantee has been provided to the Client. Note that the wording of the bank guarantee must be approved by the Client in advance.

    Or perhaps
    The guarantee retention will be paid to the Contractor after a bank guarantee, the wording of which must be approved in advance by the Client, has been provided to the Client.
