    flecked with gold

    "Her eyes were light green and flecked with gold."
    I wonder what the last part means. Very difficult
    because most, if not all, of us have brown (we call it balck)
    eyes.

    Eyes {even when "black"} can have little flecks of lighter pigment in the iris. With green eyes, these are often a very light yellow/brown colour that can be called gold.
