    sentence with "when"

    Which version is correct?

    1) Let me know when it will be completed
    2) Let me know when it is completed

    They both are correct but the meanings are different.

    1) Tell me now (or soon) the time by which it is scheduled to be completed. (it will be completed in June, 2008)

    2) I want to be notified (when)(at the time) it is completed. (in June, 2008 you will be notified that it has been completed)

    I hope these explanations are clear enough; if not, ask again.
