    correct my simple sentence

I have learnt that we should not put comma for a single word, from my previous threads.

Do you think this sentence is correct?

    Thank you Tdol.

I have learnt, from my previous threads, that we should not use a comma after a single word.

    Is this also correct?

    Re: correct my simple sentence

    Gary,
But bear in mind that in fact a comma, in English apposition , is required: "Annie, my neighbor, is a rock climber."
"Books, however, are not a luxury."
