    Fault-finder

I was wondering whether the Adj "fault-finder" has a positive or negative connotation.

    Re: Fault-finder

Some context would also be helpful.

    Re: Fault-finder

A "finder" (of any sort) is a noun, not an adjective.

    Re: Fault-finder

    You're right.
But do you think being a fault-finder is something positive or negative.

I suspect the context you have in mind is of a person who looks only (or chiefly) for faults in other people. If so, the answer's obvious, but the question has little to do with language.

Although the answer's obvious, it's difficult to learn anything without having one's mistakes identified. When and how is what matters.
