    i need help with past.. HELP ME

    when i use DID do i need to put the verb in presente?

    for example..

    You did went to United states.

    You did go to the United states.

    Yes, you have to use the present-tense form of the verb when you use did.

    Did you go to the movies last night?
    Yes, I went to the movies last night.
    Yes, I did go to the movies last night.

    I thought I saw you yesterday.
    I am sure I saw you yesterday.
    I did see you yesterday.
