    DNS Did Not Start
PB Personal Best - the best the athlete has ever done in competition. You can't set a PB in training, although an athlete will obviously be aware of what s/he has done in training.
    SB Season's Best
    WL Context?
Q or q Q = Qualified by right; q = qualified as one of the fastest losers. For example, there are three races in the round before the final. There must be 8 runners in the Final: the first two in each race are marked Q (even if they were placed second in a slow race), and the two fastest losers are marked q (and it's tough luck on the third-fastest loser if one of the Q qualifiers recorded a slower time).

    ...

    PS
When I asked for context, I know you've given some. But it'll help us guess if you say what discipline is involved. For example, someone who did very badly in the High Jump might have recorded the "World's Lowest"

Wild guess: when someone is disqualified, they're usually marked DQ on the results board. There are various reasons for disqualification; maybe WL is one of them (Wrong Lane).

Another one that may well appear after distance races (or in the sprints if someone is injured): DNF (the obvious 'antonym' of DNS).
