    At you current level, there is no way you can learn it by yourself.

    Yourself is a reflexive pronoun and is often used to refer back to the subject of the clause.

    He cleaned up by himself

    They did it by themselves

    I got myself a new pair of sunglasses

    If we were to say 'he cleaned up on his own' I think that we would be placing the emphasis on the fact that he was alone and not in company.

    Either one of these is correct:

    You cannot learn on your own.

    You cannot learn by yourself.

    By yourself and on your own have the same meaning.
