    very same

    Hello everybody!
I'm studing the adjective/adverb "same" in relation to the concept of sameness. I would like to know if "very" is used to reinforce this concept or not.
    Here are some examples:
    - Perry Taylor , the very same U.S. Naval Academy graduate who just months ago was a frequent protector to Britney Spears and her son, Sean Preston.
    - She hit our own cameraman's lens outside the very same nightclub late Tuesday night.

    Thank you so much!
