    one letter from both cases

    there is the sentence:

please ensure that passwords are strong (at least eight characters long, include at least one letter from both cases, a digit, and a special character)

in this sentence, "one letter from both cases" means one letter, either in upper case or in lower case, or actually two letters, one in upper and one in lower?

The password must include both upper and lower case letters as well as numerals and special characters.
