    Comment on the use of "with" in the following sentence: Mr.&Mrs.Vijayakumar request the pleasure of the presence of Dr.H.Sekhar on the occasion of the marriage of their son KARTHICK with SHARMILA on.......

    'To' would be more common in British English. Judging by the names, there might be a South Asian influence here:

    I think that "to" would be more common in American English also. :wink:
