    Cool commercial free

    In this sentence:
"VH1 will air the film commercial free after its theatrical and DVD release", which is the meaning for "commercial free"?

    1) Maybe that it will be aired without any commercial in between?
    2) Or that it will be aired free of charge for the viewers?

    Thank You

    Re: commercial free

Without commercials;e.g., sugar free means without sugar; tax free, without taxes.
