    Euphemism

    Dear teachers, how could I say diplomatically in disagreeing somebody's opinion without offence?

    For example, "Sorry, I feel uncomfortable with the word... you used in your reply." "I hate to disagree...", etc.

    What about the others in different scenarios?
    Grateful if you could exhaust them in a list?

    I wonder what the euphemism is for euphemism.
    Expressions used instead of a more direct one to avoid ruffling the feathers of someone.
