    Present perfect vs past simple

Is it OK if I say: ' I've bought this house since 1987' ?

It neither sounds nor looks good, so you'd better say:
I bought this house in 1987.

But if you really haven't been able to get that house since then, say:
I have been trying to buy this house since 1987.

    And good luck!

    OK! I see.
Btw, what do you mean by "good luck"? Oh! I've never tried to buy a house, and I never will. I think I'd better spend such money buying something else

I made an assumption that you were going to buy one!
