    Apostrophe + s

I get stuck on this one sometimes. Are drivers license and driver's license equally correct (in the singular)?

I can really get stuck on these sometimes. And Google searches do not guarantee any form of reliability.

Another peeve of mine is "She picked her suit up at the cleaners/cleaner's".

Any suggestions would be welcome here. And any rules ... would be even better!

    Regards
    Bill

I'd say "driver's licence" and "at the cleaner's".

    Hi Harry,

Sorry for not acknowledging your response to my inquiry earlier. Sometimes I'm not very effective when it comes to correspondence.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Have a great weekend,
    Bill
