    Is this sentence correct?

    For the last 21 years, it has been my extremem pleasure to have employed Joe Smith.

    "extreme" is not usual, and it would be better without it.

    It also means you were his boss for 21 years. Is that the case, or do you simply want to say that he has been with the company that long?
