    pls help

Please help. the other day when I told my boss that I went to Vietnam for a weekend, he said to me, "you got the skinny of me".

Can you tell me what he meant by that?

    Thank you.

Usually, "the skinny" is a slang term meaning the inside information or the previously unknown truth.

Did you find out some gossip or some information about your boss while in Vietnam? If so, he might have said "You got the skinny on me."

Is he asking you to describe your activities while you were in Vietnam; asking you what it was like, where you went? In that case, he might have asked, "You got the skinny for me?"
