    How could I remove the check box beside my question in the title bar?

    Why should you want to? It lets a user* of the forum software specify that a command should apply to that post and not to another; it's an essential part of the software.

    PS *not all users; a Moderator may need to use it.

    Excuse me. Why some of us and not all with a "tick"? I mean the heading under the column of "thread/thread starter" at Today's Posts.

    Do you mean the little blue box with a tick in it?

    If you do, then that shows you which threads you have posted a message on.
