    will/ shall?

    Hi native speakers,

Any difference between 'shall' and 'will be' in the following sentences.

I shall be responsible for reporting the findings to the council.
I will be responsible for reporting the findings to the council.

    Re: will/ shall?

not really, perhaps the only difference would be the intensity of the word. In different examples will be or shall may be more effective to get across your meaning. In this case, I think that will be is more effective.
