    Is it perhaps ex-production >> not in production/out of production?

    ...or it might be a made-up word used to designate something not connected with a particular production. An actor might* say 'When I'm in work I socialize only with people I'm working with. My "ex-production" friends have to wait until the run finishes.'

    *I've never heard this. I'm just imagining a context in which this neologism would work.
