    What does this sentence mean?
    ''He is hanging on Shannon''
Does it mean he is trying to attract Shannon's attention or he trusts Shannon?
Or,can you give me the right ways to mean those both situations?
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: vocabulary

More context would make it clearer.

It probably means that he is hanging around her, hoping that she will notice him.
