    Hi there,



    He doesn’t want to give the impression to the PTA of promising activities we won’t be able to run in the end.
    Does it mean?
    He doesn’t want to give the impression to the PTA that we won’t be able to run in the end.

    It means he doesn't want to promise or seem to promise something that cannot be done.
