    I am confused regarding a sentence I am writing. Here goes

    Did you not hear what I said? Can this sentence be used or is the correct way

    Did you hear what I said?

    They can both be used. You can also say Didn't you hear what I said?

    I would say this when I am angry with the person.

    Did you not hear what I said?

    The other sentence is not as forceful.
