    give a class

An example In Spanish (my mother tongue):

Quiero ser maestro y dar clases
I want to be a teacher and teach a class (or classes)

In English, is it ok to say? I want to give a class (I mean a person that want to become a teacher).

Are there more ways to express that?

    Thanks in advance, take care

    Re: give a class

"Give a class" is incorrect; we'd say "teach a class" or simply "teach."

"It has always been my dream to teach."
"I want to get my degree so that I can teach."
