    Pedantry and the Grand Prix.

I actually got up at 06:30 last Sunday in order to watch the GP race and see AH take the world title in his first season. Why the hell didn't he crash earlier so I could have gone back to bed whilst it was still warm!

During the program there was a competition and the question is "Which continent is Singapore in"?

I was pretty sure that this should be either "Which continent is Singapore on" or some other completely different wording altogether.

There is nothing quite so sad as a would be pedant who doesn't have the knowledge.

I think I'd say "in" too, actually. (Well, I think I would. Possibly. Though I don't know why. )
