    Smile usage is correct?

    Dear Teacher

    "Figure 1 shows the detailed network of the system"

    or

    "The detailed network of the system is shown in Figure 1"

    which usage is correct?

    Both are correct...#1 is active and #2 is passive. So its usage would depend on the rest of the writing...you want the verb tenses to agrre with the rest of the writing.
