    Very ou absolytely

    I would like to know when should I use Very and when absolutely.

    If an adjective is gradable, which means that it can have various degrees, use very. We can say that something is a little/very hot, etc. If an adjective does not have many degrees, like 'brilliant' (we don't say 'a little brillliant') then use absolutely.
