    What does the expression "funny you should ask" mean? Can anubody help me?

    "funny you should ask" usually means someone has reminded you of something that you were about to mention.
    For instance, let's say that I was teaching a class and that the principle asked to see one of my students. While teaching a student suddenly mentions punishment, and that word reminds me that I have to remind that student to see the principle.
