Both are fine, Audrey. We have quite a bit of freedom with adverbial adjuncts can often be placed in a number of locations in a sentence. In writing, you'll likely see commas added.

On Tuesday, the company said ...

The company, on Tuesday, said that ....

The company said, on Tuesday, that ...

Having said that, there are normal neutral positions, meaning a position that is most commonly used and one that represent the most neutral meaning.
