    hi British English teachers,
    Will you put the stress at the beginning or just stress both word?
    1. CD shop
    2. clothes shop
    3. convenience store
    4. department shore
    5. electronics shop
    6. furniture shop
    7. gift shop
    8. jewellery shop
    9. newsagent's
    10. shoe shop
    11. sports shop
    12. stationary shop
    13. toy shop

    I can't speak for the Brits, but in the US there would be a very slight emphasis (stress) on the first word in each of your examples. We would not emphasize (stress) the second word in your examples.

    "Unregistered", if you registered you would receive an email everytime a response was posted to your questions.
